Auditions Requirements
The director is interested in creative casting that will root the story in a realistic, modern environment independent from any specific time period, theme, or modern commentary. The script has been significantly abridged for time and some characters doubled to provide actors with substantial character work. Casting is flexible (so think outside of the box!) and will be determined by actor ability, chemistry, and appropriate pairings of couples based on plot.

Sides will be available but actors are strongly encouraged to prepare no more than 30-45 seconds of the Shakespeare monologue of their choice. It need not be from Romeo and Juliet but please adhere to the length requirement.
