THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM
COUNTY SPELLING BEE

AUGUST 7-16, 2026
An eclectic group of six quirky middle schoolers competes for the spelling championship of a lifetime in this Tony Award-winning musical comedy. As they spell their way through increasingly outrageous words, they reveal hilarious and heartfelt stories from their home lives—all while hoping to avoid the dreaded "ding." Packed with audience participation, unforgettable characters, and a witty, touching score by William Finn, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a fast-paced crowd-pleaser that's equal parts laugh-out-loud funny and surprisingly heartfelt.
